Mission Statement
Swim Strong Aquatic Club develops the whole person - excellence athletically, academically, and persons of character.

Vision Statement
The vision of the Swim Strong Aquatic Club is to develop swimmers who are a credit to their community. The Swim Strong Aquatic Club's swimming experience strives to shape and strengthen character, develop focus, and demonstrate the importance of personal commitment and discipline throughout one's lifetime. While the Swim Strong Aquatic Club works to develop champion swimmers, the club measures success not only in ribbons and medals but also in the personal and athletic growth of each swimmer.

Training Groups
Green: This level is for swimmers who have taken swimming lessons and are comfortable in the water, but need additional help in the water mastering all four competitive strokes. This level is run much like an advanced swimming lesson with the emphasis on competitive swimming with a 6 to 1 swimmer to coach ratio. Swimmers are not expected to be able to swim a lap of the pool independently because a coach will be present in the water to teach and demonstrate proper technique.

Bronze: This is a transitional level from swimming lessons to a more competitive focus. At this level there is a high emphasis on proper technique: body position, breathing, and other swimming related skills. It is the mission of the coaching staff to insure each swimmer enjoys their introduction into the competitive program.

Silver: This groups continues to focus on developing proper technique along with increased aerobic conditioning and more complex training sets. At this level the swimmer is expected to take an active role in their development as a competitive swimmer. Swimmers are encouraged to compete at the local level and swim in some out of district competitions.

Gold: This is the most advanced and demanding of the groups. At this level swimmers continue to focus on perfection skills while increasing their endurance capacity. Swimmers are expected to maintain a high commitment to swimming as seen through practice performance and goal setting.

Summer Strong: Summer swim session designed for swimmers looking to excel in Varsity Swimming. Developed for teen swimmers who want an opportunity to enhance their swimming skills, techniques, and endurance.  Summer Strong! is open to youth swimmers ages 14 – 18, entering 9th Grade through 12th Grade.  (12 – 13 year olds with prior swim team experience may be eligible with the coach’s permission.)
